Design CONCEPT & rationale
The forest canopy serves as a metaphor for well-being and interconnectedness, reflecting the harmony and interdependence in nature's intricate ecosystem. It symbolizes the balance between individual growth and collective flourishing, offering insights into our own well-being and the connections we share with others.
The design mimics the nurturing and symbiotic nature of a forest canopy, providing a safe and encouraging environment for all guests. Organic forms, curvilinear lines, and flowing shapes are incorporated to evoke a sense of security and reception. Sustainable materials provide warmth, authenticity, and a tactile connection to nature, inviting residents to feel grounded and at ease with their surroundings. Like a forest floor and its network of interconnected paths, the space incorporates pathways that encourage exploration, create opportunities for exploration, and foster a sense of community among visitors
FURNITURE HIGHLIGHTS
Furniture throughout the space has been chosen based on the goals and initiatives of Synergy Intervention Center. Stackable and moveable furniture like tables, chairs, and markerboards allows for great versatility and allow the space to be reconfigured to host educational and employment opportunities and charity events throughout the year.
